kve777 6,657 Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 For you vinyl guys, try this- rub the edge and center(not the grooves) of your records with a dryer sheet before playing. Also cut a dryer sheet to a size a little bigger than the label, with a 1/4" hole in the middle, and put that on the platter mat, under the record. I think you will notice fewer pops and clicks from static. 5 to10 seconds in the microwave oven will activate the dryer sheet, for better results.
