From what I understand, individual components values change slightly as they heat up to their peak operating temperatures, and at different rates. Different values will shift the overall sound some. Just as an alternator in a vehicle starts off cold producing 14.4 volts, only to drop down to around 13.8 volts when fully up to temp.  
 
One reason why I leave my system up and running 24/7.
