Noting that your hearing in each ear is different, the Even H1a headphones may be of value to you. Another possibility is to have a headphone amp with mono volume controls.

HOOKS I says, and behold, one for the back and front. Scrap mesquite wood from a dresser that I made years ago, a couple of copper spacers between the two pieces of wood, and the reason for it all is to have a headphone stand that you can use just one hand to pick one up. The old stands gripped, or should I say the headphones gripped them, and it took 2 hands to remove the headphones from the stand. Often times, the stand would fall over in the process. Why bother? I will make my own 10 pound stand... from SCRAP!

GUYS Guys guys,  Now you didn't really think that it was all over and the winner declared, did,,, you?? Oh no no nooo, I have some more good news. First, I have been advised that 'Even' headphones are now available as wireless. That has to be the last bitch that we really have about phones right, being tethered.

But wait, there is another kid on the block, my new Sennheiser M2.0 wireless headphones. In a pinch they are fine. I will come right out and say that they aren't my favorites, BUT I am listening to Chicago right now as I type this. Wireless my friends is a beautiful thing. Maybe if I get some hi-res downloads I will change my mind and this stuff will go up a notch.  More later, less sooner.
