startender 0
I am in search of a 2SA1370E (or suitable genuine replacement) for a Carver TFM-35, Q202. Would you put one of these - http://www.bdent.com/2sa1370-sanyo-video-transistor.html or these - http://www.bdent.com/2sa1371-sanyo-video-transistor.html in your Carver? Is Bdent a reliable supplier of transistors? The only alternative I've been able to find is - https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/toshiba-semiconductor-and-storage/2SA1837-FM/2SA1837FM-ND/871380 As a resident of the US can anyone here show me where I can do better than ^ that? Even harder still, I would replace its companion 2SC3467-E (Q204) or possibly the whole gang (Q201,202,209,210,203,204,207,208) if I could find better pairs? No pressure but after days of searching you may well be this amp's last hope.

Daddyjt 8,587
Other than their search function is a PITA to use, I have no issues with BDent - They have been my source for Sankens for years, and those are frequently counterfeited devices - Never a bad one from BDent though. startender 0
I've ordered some samples from B+D Enterprises Inc. Hopefully these will get this patient out of the woods and I'll be able to set the bias and check input status. In the meantime I'll be watching for any further recommendations for replacements for these devices. Thank you Tony, Dennis and Daddyjt for your reassurances.
