Hi:

I sold my perfectly working MkII to a buyer on eBay but sadly FedEx damaged it during shipping. The left corner faceplate is twisted and bent backwards. The top cover is also bent such that the cover is no longer flush with the faceplate. Buyer says shop repair not possible and he's a mechanical engineer and since I'm not, I trust his judgment.
And no.... it wasn't insured, unfortunately.

I'm looking for a junked m-1.0t amplifier for parts. I just need the front faceplate and top cover. That's it. Pics here. Please let me know if you are having trouble accessing them.

I have 2 M-1.0t's here that I was going to eventually have repaired and upgraded to MKII.

I would be willing to sell you one for what I paid for it ($235) if you can't find just the parts.

Good luck with your search!

Incidents like these make me very reluctant to ship any gear. I was fortunate to have insurance on a TS-EQ10, which UPS paid for.

Yup, a painful lesson to learn. I wish I had insurance paid on it in hindsight.

Exactly why I always ship with insurance. You're just asking for trouble if you don't, and ultimately a LOT more money out of your pocket.

Rockster2U put in considerable effort to rebuild the enclosure like new. It is great to have a community of Carverites ready to assist.

Good to see folks like Compwaco help fellow Carverites.  ApplauseThumb up

Yeah..and I'll end up losing lots on this deal. I'll swap the faceplates and covers between the stock and damaged unit. Then I'll probably do a MkII the returned stock amp now with its bent plate/cover of the former mkII.

Despite cosmetic issues, a M1.0t MkII is an excellent amp. Take heart.
