Hi, guys and gals. Are there any gals here on this site??? I'm really curious about that?

Anyhow, has anyone tried this space aged stylus cleaner called Zero Dust by Onzow?

It gets rave reviews on Amazon and is sold my Music Direct for about $60 if I recall correctly.

Based on the reviews it's wonderful stuff and I need something that will clean my Denon DL-103 properly every time I use it.

Just picked up a SL-Q2 platter that looks as close to brand new as I have ever seen for $45. Now my SL-Q2 is looking great. Next I'm adding some 3 D black fiber wrap/veneer that looks really cool. This will cover up a few scratches on the front face of my table and look good doing so.

I use it. My friend who runs a $10000 vinyl rig uses it. You should use it.

Let me save you about $50....

THIS stuff will work just as well.
I've been using it for the last couple of years now.
My father in-law is big into vinyl and uses it on
Oracle Delphi set up, he showed this to me and I've
never looked back. Works like magic, just touch the
stylus to it and Voila.

Just go to your local music instrument store, they should have
it for under $10

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It seems to be very popular and gets rave reviews here as well as Amazon.

It's $34 on Amazon in the basic white or clear color which seems fine to me.

PDR: When you use that sticky pad stuff how many come in the round package?

There is a Guitar Center here in Joliet I.L. but I would think it's available online as well which would be better for me.

Thanks again everyone, I now have no problem using either one of these odd stylus cleaners.

I do know I need this stuff badly since my Denon DL-103 has a very tiny stylus with a very thin cantilever as well.

Thanks that's a great price with free shipping. Already own that magic Deoxit D5 and the Deoxit Fader F5 and have had it for about 3 years. It's amazing stuff! I have used it several times on my C-1 preamp's controls and also with my Technics SL-Q2 tonearm bearings.

There is nothing like Deoxit on the market that I have ever seen. Maybe WD-40 could be used as a lubricant but Deoxit Fader is safe on plastics and is my choice for cleaning pots. Did you know that WD -40 was invented during the space race and the W D are the inventors initials and the 40 stands for the 40th attempt to get it right.

I made the mistake of using it on some rear hinges of a SL-Q2 and then they would not hold the dust cover up anymore. I have 2 SL-Q2's and a SL-Q3 and out of the 3 only one set of hinges actually work correctly.

Thanks again for the link and feedback.

Thanks I bought the blue kind for $7 including free shipping. Thanks for pointing this out to me you saved me about $40 and they look to work exactly the same.Applause

Is it o.k. to place it on some flat cardboard or thin wood? I need to actually place it on my platter to get the stylus of my Denon DL-103 to drop onto it. Does it dry out or can it be exposed under my dust cover?

Thanks again. Steve
