  2. I don’t have any UHQR, but certainly some MFSL vinyl. The ones that I personally bought new have been handled carefully and sound great. The ones that I bought used, some are good and some not so much. For example, I found a copy of Clapton’s Slowhand used for $20. The person that owned this only played one side I think, so one side is noisy, the other silent. If I buy a UHQR, I want it to be in great shape. So that means new, which until I have much more money won’t happen, or used. For used, I wouldn’t buy unless I could listen to it first. That is why I don’t have any UHQR, but if you have a brand new, sealed, dsotm, iRobot, crime of the century, or anything really, for $100, then I’m your man! Cash money!

  3. For me, the keyword is patience. I go to a lot of garage sales and record shows, better deals can be had on those and other great pressings.

  4. How much better I don't know but the scarcity is what is driving the price up. I think collectors buy them and never play them. I have a few unplayed Beatles albums in my Beatles collection. I thought about buying the Sargent Peppers UHQR but it would be an investment.
