  1. If we had that program in my shop, we could have our Christams party in Monte Carlo and pull a Concorde out of mothballs to get us there.......
  2. I had assumed that was the one that started this thread.....
  3. Not Available in.... I thought that only happened here....like all the time.
  4. This one has cost me more than one speeding ticket. FYI: recorded at LeStudio which had been abandoned and eventually burned down by vandals.... https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/le-studio-fire-morin-heights-1.4243188
  5. Most of mine is in a storage unit. What's your excuse?
  6. Are there pics of your vinyl on here R2000? Long week, too tired to search......
  7. Tough to deal with. I am running an 'old' BlueSound Node2. Through an external DAC. Not even a Node2i. It was a tough transition. So much music, none of which i 'owned'... So many new releases, so many more version of stuff I thought I knew. I could buy hundred dollar vinyl. Or not. The source is the same. Never, ever wanted to join the subscription thing. So much content, no change in cost... And I just got another offer for my vinyl collection...
  8. You are 'brown' now Ed. Time to post some pictures!!!!
  9. Cool! Thanks for clarifying!
  10. So did you think it was better or no?
  11. Like all vinyl, it really comes down to how well it was mastered to work within the physical limitations of that medium. And no, I do not have an 'Ultra'..
  12. Do you want the music or the pricey vinyl? Do you have a quality copy of it now? In the end, there is only the one original master to work from. I have a very few MF LPs, a couple I bought just because I wanted them, and a few that were the only quality recordings available at the time.

Something more modern: Ben Williams - I am a man
  15. That reminds me of some of the earlier Fripp / Eno work.

Cohan is a pianist composer, his work tends to be longer compositions heavily influenced by classical with a bit of world music rhythms blended in. This suite was originally composed for live performances. If you decide to give it a listen, turn it up! This is one of the few recordings I actually prefer the SH to be engaged on. -R
  17. "Advent subwoofer w/a built in 500 watt Sunfire Amp" ??? Uh, wow! That will have our collective attention.😀 Once you have a few more posts, we would love to see pics of that. And a vintage Yamaha TT? Which model? B&O. There is an interesting item. Which Carver pieces have caught your attention?
  18. Welcome to the show (sideshow??)! Fill us in on some details. Have any Carver gear?
