  1. Not sure what happened here but this was supposed to be the chain. https://youtu.be/JDG2m5hN1vo
  2. The bass is in it's own at the 3:00 mark:
  3. Oh, I thought you were talking about his brother George. George Young Anyhow, here's my favorite clip of them:
  4. What gave you that idea? Angus is still alive and duck-walking! I believe he's referring to George Young who just died in October.
  5. I've been putting about a quarter teaspoon of turmeric in my morning tea for about a year now. I first tried it after reading an article on turmeric and it's affect on joint pain. Placebo effect or not the joint pain went completely away so I still add a few shakes of the spice into my tea in the morning (along with a little cinnamon).

    Joey Long

Anybody ever hear of Joey Long? I found this on another forum. Apparently Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray and Billy Gibbons have cited him as an inspiration. I must say that I suspect that I know where Billy got some of his guitar licks: His story is an interesting one as well. Found this while surfing for info: https://tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/flo76
  7. Sounds nice. I've not heard anything from these guys before (other than Stills in his other groups).
  8. There are a lot of classical rips. Elvis Presley's "It's now or Never" is "O' Sole Mio." Billy Joel used the melody from Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 (Pathetique) for one of his songs (I can't remember which one). Edit: The Billy Joel tune ripped from Beethoven is the chorus of "The Night."
  9. This is really getting exciting. Cool Karma Barry!
  10. I must say that I have a new-found appreciation for country music now.
  11. I'm planning to buy a CD copy of the Beatles "Revolver" album. I noticed that there is a 2009 remaster but fear that it's been remastered for ipods. I know that there were UK versions, U.S. versions and Japanese versions (I think). Can anyone comment on the best version to buy?
  12. I got my secret decoder ring. "Drink more Ovaltine?"
  13. Exactly. However, I've found that Carver gear is being heavily discounted (due to age though).
  14. Thanks all. There was no turning back once I bought the first piece of Carver gear to upgrade my Receiver 900 system.
