  12. Thanks for the review Mark, its always nice to get an opinion of someone who also likes a director or star on a new release. I like Tarantino's work also. Actually right now there is a interview he did with another of my favorite directors Robert Rodriquez on the El Rey Network its a two parter only part one is out so far. In the interview he discusses what you mentioned, that almost every scene is almost like a stand alone short story and at the same time another piece of the puzzle that doesn't make sense (how they are all connected) until the very end. Also music /soundtrack is extremely important to him as well. Another very good Kevin Costner movie is the western "Open Range" with the great Robert Duvall, and Annette Bening. A lot of great one-liners in the movie. Cinematography is also very good.
  13. Great pick Mark one of my favorites, a bad guy with a code. Yes I agree a young Lucy Liu looks pretty hot in the black dominatrix outfit, pretty funny she kept on working even while Mel came in, nice touch. Also lets not forget the unforgettable Maria Bello, and the always sultry, Deborah Kara Unger (from Highlander: Final Dimension)

    Chernobyl

Thanks for posting this, I had seen it listed but just went right on by it. I too never fully knew the extent of this melt down and how close it came to becoming a global disaster. What did the expert quote every 24 hrs. was the equivalent of 48 Hiroshima size bombs going off (2 per hr.), releasing that much radioactivity into the air. If you haven't watched it yet check it out...........
  18. Welcome to the site, glad you found us. As mentioned above do some reading to help decide which way you want to go. Plenty of helpful people to answer questions and or help. Be aware that there is serious voltage in this amp. Good Luck, and enjoy the site.............
  19. A while back we had a member that sold LP's in his E-Bay store. His member name was effgjm or something like that. He sells a lot master and first run LP's. He can decifer the writing thats in the runoff at the end/center of an LP I found his E-Bay site = ClevelandVinyl.com He has a 8 step process, ultrasonic, steam, then a VPI machine. It was $4.00 per LP, not sure, I think site members may get some kind of a price break, its been a while not sure about now . Check out his site interesting stuff.
