Dingman 227
Interesting, we have some of the same tastes apparently - But I do stray from the norm somewhat. Joes' Garage - Frank Zappa Dreamboat Annie - Heart Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield Add it up - Violent Femmes Kill Bill Vol. 1 - Assorted Alice Cooper - Goes to Hell Great Film Fantasies - Erich Kunzel (Cincinnati Pops Orchestra) O'Brother, Where are thou? - Assorted (movie soundtracks, this is a must listen) I know there's some there off the beaten path - but very good stuff there. Of course, not every track on every album, like Kill Bill has a couple shorts that are really weird, and I skip. I've also been enjoying the re-mastered and re-mixed Zeppelin albums released a few years ago Good thread! I love this, I'll be checking out some of youse guys' suggestions.

hifibourbon 27
Liked it musically, lot of interesting contrast to how most perform it today, just wish they could have restored more of the sound and less of the inherent hiss. Like Richter's 2nd and Horowitz's 3rd, but RCA's Kissin recordings are excellent sound ref.

Regular post so no tracking. Not that it matters as once is hits US customs, tracking is no longer available. So much for international cooperation! I'll look for the receipt tomorrow as it's likely at the office...
BrianD 488
I use many of those that you all have listed, but here are a few ones that I use that I didn’t see: Supertramp - Crime of the Century Lots of non-electrified instruments and big dynamic range Pink Floyd - Echoes Low end Holts the Planets - Mars One of my favorite pieces of symphony that I have heard live many times as a reference (the rest of the suite is meh) Marvin Gaye - What’s Going On I have a LP pressing of this that I found used, it is very old but not played much, and for some reason is one of the purest sounding pieces of vinyl that I have.
