Well, if there WAS a 2 million watt single ended amplifier, it would look something like this.

Actually it's a test set for 2 million watt transmitter tubes. The big round thing on top is the cooling tank. The 2 megawatt tube (which weighs over 150 lbs/70 kg) is the small thing with the white base underneath the tank (that the lady is sitting next to). Needless to say, she doesn't hang around when they pull the switch on this puppy...the tube itself has about 17,000 volts on the anode at something like 60 amps....according to Eimac, the lights in the entire factory dim when this test set is powered up!

Acapella Audio Arts Sphäron Excalibur Speakers
Developed from the "classical" Sphäron, the new Excalibur is raising to a new standard of dimension and variability. In consideration of the fact that the former Sphäron had to be combined with a 12m² horn unit for transmission of the lowest frequencies, the new Excalibur now can easily be integrated into living rooms having a minimum size of 40m². I thinks it's more a matter of loosing something in the translation.
 

Gryphon Poseidon Speaker System

Since 1985, Danish Gryphon Audio Designs has been well-regarded for its high-end audio electronics. But in the last decade, the company has expanded its portfolio to include speakers as well, foremost among which is the mighty Poseidon.

Each audio channel is served by two towers standing 6.5 feet tall. The bass module includes eight 8-inch drivers in a sealed cabinet with a built-in 1000W power amp that provides sophisticated Q Control circuitry to fine-tune the bass response to the room. Handling the mids and highs, the other tower includes four 5-inch midbass drivers (two at the top and two at the bottom) and four 5-inch midrange drivers flanking a ring-radiator tweeter in the center.

A passive crossover in the mid-high tower uses carefully selected custom components to ensure ideal phase at all frequencies. A separate active low-frequency crossover resides in the bass tower.

Another element contributing to Gryphon's goal that all drivers be in phase at all times at all frequencies is the concave shape of the front of the cabinet. This places the acoustic center of each driver at the same distance from the listener, and the cabinets can be angled in the vertical and horizontal planes to fine-tune their directionality.

The Poseidon's impressive frequency response extends from 16Hz to 40kHz (±3dB), depending on the Q setting and room size. The passive mid-high module's sensitivity is 92dB/W/m, and the impedance never drops below 4Ω, making it an amp-friendly load.

And the cost? 125,000 euros/pair (just over $185,000 as of this writing). And if you want carbon-fiber side panels, that will be another 6600 euros (almost $9800). But I'd wager that the Poseidon makes a gorgeous sound that Gryphon founder Flemming E. Rasmussen is justifiably proud of.

I changed mine a bit....sand filed body with a radius on the top of the woofer section for strength.
All with Dannys approval....
The ones shown above use cast in place concrete for the sides, all driven with Dodd gear.

Germany held the largest heavy die forging presses during the war, and translated this advantage into high performance jet fighters. The Soviet Union captured the largest German press to survive the war, with a capacity of 33,000 ton, and were suspected to have seized the designs for an even larger 55,000 ton press. The next two largest units were captured by the United States and brought across the Atlantic, but they were half the size at 16,500 ton. As cold war fears developed, American strategists worried that this would give the Soviet Air Force a crucial advantage and designed the Heavy Press Program to help win the arms race.

The entire five stories of press above ground moves up and down with each stroke. 
 
The Heavy Press Program was a turning point in American politics. There wasn't enough commercial return expected to justify the investment by any private corporation. So after much debate, the Government subsidized the revolutionarily expensive program.   
This is often considered the beginning of the military-industrial complex. Every manned US military, Boeing, and Airbus aircraft flying today was built around parts made on this press. 
 
Eight of the bolts that hold the big Fifty together are 40 inches in diameter and 78 feet long. The nuts weigh 55 tons each. The Fifty can forge an ingot of titanium the size of your living room to final dimensions, with a precision of thousandths of an inch, in less than a minute.
