  1. Hello Everyone from the Minneapolis area. I purchased a M500 and C-1 over the weekend. It sounded great the little I was able to listen before a capacitor blew on the power supply. I’ve ordered replacements and am hoping to get it back up and running. This will be my first attempt at replacing a capacitor but it seems pretty straight forward. I look forward to learning more about the equipment and Carver products! Doug

  15. Mannheim Steamroller’s “Fresh Aire” Series was some of the first music I listened to when I got serious about music in the late 80’s. IIRC, there was only I-IV back then. 8 is by far the boldest of the Fresh Aire albums - the bass on “Big Bang” literally made my Velodyne DD12 “walk” about 10” when my system was on bare concrete in the basement prior to finishing...
