  4. Quick update. I received 2 of the manuals ordered so far: TFM-22 SM and MD/V-500 SM (The MD/V is 106 pages). I also mistakenly ordered 2 we already had (my bad). To prevent this mistake again, I revised the list and reclassified (changed categories) several of the items. The attached Excel sheet is my own working list, you are welcome to it if you wish to use it. On the BLACK Carver tab: Items in green are manuals we have. Some manuals cover multiple models - I listed the duplicates in gray. Items not highlighted are manuals that are not in the database. The RED Carver tab are just manuals not in the site database. The other tabs are a Work in Progress. Stats: The site has 218 Carver manuals covering 243 models. I will be providing 3 more - I have 2 to scan and waiting for one in the mail which I'll scan. Assuming that every product has an OM and SM, we are still looking for 210 manuals. I have some flag notes in YELLOW - If you know any detail on those and can clarify, please let me know. For example: The database lists an amp under Audio-Theater as AV-140. I've seen a couple of examples on eBay - looks to be a clone of the TFM-6cb but I seem to remember them as A-140 - I moved them on my list to the Amplifier section with the other A series amp. If I'm mistaken, please advise. Also - what do you think about posting the list under Important Topics section - (Manuals needed)? People exploring the site might be inclined to donate an e-copy or even an old paper copy if they are aware we are looking to preserve them and available to the public. Just a thought. 5. Chicago isn't really that bad....... Bob was sitting on the plane at Cleveland waiting to fly to Chicago, when a guy took the seat beside him. The guy was an emotional wreck…pale, hands shaking in fear. "What's the matter, afraid of flying?" Bob asked. "No, it's not that. I've been transferred to Chicago. The people are crazy there, right? Lots of shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, poor schools, and the highest crime rate in the USA. ” Bob replied, "I've lived in Chicago all my life. It's not as bad as the media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business, and enroll your kids in a nice private school. I've worked there for 14 years and never had the slightest trouble. ” The guy relaxed and stopped shaking and said, "Oh, thank you. I've been worried to death, but if you've lived and worked there all those years and say it's OK, I'll take your word for it. What do you do for a living? ” "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck..."
