That looks like a great line-up. Don't miss Quinn Sullivan. I saw him when he was 16 and his band was really good. He's probably 17 by now. He does some great covers as well as his own songs. I'd sure like to see Elvin Bishop.
I'm seeing Ronnie again in October. His drummer of 15 years will be leaving the band in early August. Your show will probably his last with the Broadcasters. Enjoy.
I saw Ronnie and the Broadcasters on the 25th. It was a good show. I bought his latest CD 'Father's Day'. I got the entire band to sign it AND because I was patient I was one of three who got to do a meet and greet with Ronnie. There was approx 20 people waiting for him to come and sign CDs and albums. Most got tired of waiting and left. It was a real honor to meet with him and talk Blues. He is not well - that's all I'll say.
You should listen to his early stuff with John Mayall and The Mac.
Economy of style. Lulls you and strings you along then when you don't realize it he grabs hold of you, picks you up and slams you down then finishes with the sweet stuff.
