  2. "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" Crosby, Stills & Nash It's getting to the point where I'm no fun anymore I am sorry Sometimes it hurts so badly I must cry out loud I am lonely I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are You make it hard Remember what we've said and done and felt about each other Oh, babe have mercy Don't let the past remind us of what we are not now I am not dreaming I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are You make it hard Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Tearing yourself away from me now you are free And I am crying This does not mean I don't love you I do that's forever Yes and for always I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are You make it hard Something inside is telling me that I've got your secret Are you still listening? Fear is the lock and laughter the key to your heart And I love you I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are You make it hard And you make it hard And you make it hard And you make it hard Friday evening Sunday in the afternoon What have you got to lose? Tuesday morning Please be gone I'm tired of you What have you got to lose? Can I tell it like it is? (Help me I'm sufferin') Listen to me baby It's my heart that's a sufferin' it's a dyin' (Help me I'm dyin') And that's what I have to lose (To lose) I've got an answer I'm going to fly away What have I got to lose? Will you come see me Thursdays and Saturdays? What have you got to lose? Chestnut brown canary Ruby throated sparrow Sing a song, don't be long Thrill me to the marrow Voices of the angels Ring around the moonlight Asking me said she so free How can you catch the sparrow? 3. IIRC - it was 3 words from anywhere in the entire lyrics, using the starting 3 words makes it too easy. Having said that.... Genesis: Dance on a volcano Holy Mother of God You've got to go faster than that to get to the top. Dirty old mountain All covered in smoke, she can turn you to stone So you better start doing it right better start doing it right. You're halfway up and you're halfway down And the pack on your back is turning you around. Throw it away, you won't need it up there, and remember You don't look back whatever you do. Better start doing it right. On your left and on your right Crosses are green and crosses are blue Your friends didn't make it through. Out of the night and out of the dark Into the fire and into the fight Well that's the way the heroes go, Ho! Ho! Ho! Through a crack in Mother Earth, Blazing hot, the molten rock Spills out over the land. And the lava's the lover who licks your boots away. Hey! Hey! Hey! If you don't want to boil as well. B-B-Better start the dance D-D-Do you want to dance with me. You better start doing it right. The music's playing, the notes are right Put your left foot first and move into the light. The edge of this hill is the edge of the world And if you're going to cross you better start doing it right better start doing it right. You better start doing it right. Let the dance begin.

    Neurochemistry of Music

I thought that's what gingers were originally bred for? And I'm Irish, so flames off.
  5. My son is getting some King Crimson right now - he's not sure.......
  6. There is music playing in my house 24/7. Rarely is it top 40 mainstream type stuff. It's funny what things the kids take an interest in. My son (8): He calls it 'His music" And he really digs Bluegrass. I was watching some of the BBC's 'TransAtlantic' series - mostly for Dan Tyminski - and he was glued to the monitor. My twin girls (5) are huge Diana Krall fans. When they were babies and too fussy to sleep, the 'Live in Paris' DVD was a sure fire way to get them to settle. Still works like a charm. And as they like to dance around (plus I can only take so much of the Disney music collection), I introduced them to the B-52s No matter what they are up to good or bad, If I put Rock Lobster on - in seconds they are gettin' down in the family room. What things have your kids picked up on that's not current pop?
  7. Late to the party, but check out Johannes Linstead as well.
  8. Antonio Pinto looks to only do movie scores. There is some of his stuff on LastFM
  9. There is always going to be the 'next greatest' format on the horizon. And thousands of people arguing which is better. I tend to listen to music and not file formats myself.
  10. Within this 'closed' community....not an issue. Take it easy man! -The Dude
  11. Song rights? Not if it's never offered up for sale.
  12. Hows the stylus holding out?
  13. It should, but being a digital information format instead of fading at distance or during weather events it just cuts off.
  14. Depends on where you shoot them - or what you shoot off......
  15. "Shoot the first one and word will spread."
  16. Funny. Sirius/XM turned me off streamed music. I was an early adopter, had the Polk 'reference' home unit and 2 car units. It kept getting more expensive (we didn't get the lifetime subscription plans in Canada), the SQ was so-so IMHO and the playlists repeated every 12 hours for a month. Then the "No advertising" got turned into plugging ourselves and our other channels all the time. At least what I got from them in any case. It's the reason I was slow to check out online streaming. Wow what a difference. Since I bothered how to figure out properly setting up my Marantz NA7004 I stopped using my analog tuners and eventually sold them all.
