  1. Can anyone offer some information, is there a reason signal wires are twisted onto board stakes vs being soldered.

      Thanks Rob. I’m not having an issue there, it’s in the board in general and I was going to change it out but it looks like it may be easier to remove the entire stake and re-solder vs pulling the front panel and everything associated with it to unsolder the grays. The other thought was to untwist those connections and solder them back to the new board.

      I have had times where trying to wrap the wire back in place like factory but the wires break. So most of the time I remove the stake and clip the wire to get fresh length and solder it to the board.

      Yeah  other Rob, that's how I do it.  Just be sure the stake tins decently...
