Each shelf is supported by a center upright and dowels on each end, turned the other way the upper shelf is only held by 4 dowels drilled into the shelf so about 1/8" of press board holding around 75 records. Doubt they will ever fail but something to think about. I have 2 in my room they need to be standing up so never thought of laying them down I also added 3/16 plywood glued and stapled to the back and each shelf.

  2. To those using the Wally World / Ikea shelves as I do, I think they are designed to hold this kind of weight standing 2 wide 4 tall, might not ever be a problem but something to think about ???????

  3. My son (my computer guy) and I have searched and can't find an answer. Windows file explorer will not read/display about 75% of my music directories file tags. From the reading we have done it is a very common problem but have not been able to resolve. All the data is there and can be read by many other programs seems to be a windows problem.  Anybody point me in the right direction.

  5. Have spent the last 4+ months ripping music,............  bought a collection of more than 1300 cd's what fun. my nephew wanted anything I did not want  (20 years old  and has a premium collection already),  so i ripped most of everything to my hard drive "what a chore" and have let him go through everything. one of the best parts is almost all the music i would have bought, or am happy to listen to and my first go through had less than a couple hundred cd's that I already owned,  now own more than 4500 folders/albums on random .......... nirvana ...................................streaming service who needs it

Watched this with my wife, son (23) and daughter (18) they liked this and commented CGI is not regularly greater.  I found Costner and Harrelson blends well in this film.  We mentioned a little bit history of Bonnie and Clyde right after though..

  7. "nostalgia moment"      my only "better" vinyl album. bought the audiophile copy back in 74 and copied it to tape almost never to be played again. well 40 plus years later. have played it a few time in the last couple years on my main system and love it.  Am in the office/den tonight listening to tunes and put it on the old pioneer pl-530  sounded absolutely wonderful. Then i realised that it was the first turntable I played the record on made it sound so much better (in my mind) brought back so many good memories just had to comment, the memories are what make some music soooooo much better.
