  1. No self respecting Brit car owner would ever keep pollution control crap on their motor. Not if you want it to breath proper. I'm left with 2 runners ('70 Roadster and '73 GT) and lots of parts and more parts. The '73 is about the best car I've ever owned and I've owned it since '76.
  2. Sweet. Resembles my garage except mines full of mostly MG stuff. Do you have a Jag suspension in that baby?
  3. Welcome. Nice ambitious project you have going there.
  4. So, kinda like Yoda talking. To me, this thing, funny to me is.
  5. So Rod: What are we to make of this? Based on this I'd like to ask you if you'd rather go to California or by bus?
  6. I'm not even going to attempt this as today's top 10 would probably be different than tomorrow's which would be different from next week's, etc. Depends on my mood. The same would probably go for top favorite bands. However, there probably would always be SRV, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Cream, Beatles, Traffic, Who, Zappa.........
  7. What's your favorite JAM song in any music genre: Rock, Blues, Jazz, etc Even thou I love the Peter Green and Danny Kirwan dueling guitars, Duane Allman and Dickie Betts or Jimi doing a version of Red House.............For me it has to be Cream's long version of Spoonful on the Wheels of Fire album. Its amazing how three musicians can sound like four or five on that song. I've often woundered if Jack was using the Fender six string bass he sometimes played in the early days of Cream. Tell me your favorite>
  8. As others have said; several lyrics - depends on the mood. I like most Neil Young and Dylan stuff. Zappa of course and Beatles. Well, I guess I could go on and on. Working Class Hero: As soon as your born they make you feel small, By giving you no time instead of it all, Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. They hurt you at home and they hit you at school, They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool, Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years, Then they expect you to pick a career, When you can't really function you're so full of fear, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV, And you think you're so clever and classless and free, But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see, A working class hero is something to be, A working class hero is something to be. There's room at the top they are telling you still, But first you must learn how to smile as you kill, If you want to be like the folks on the hill, A working class hero is something to be. A working class hero is something to be. If you want to be a hero well just follow me, If you want to be a hero well just follow me. No Time to Live: As time begins to burn itself upon me And the days are growing very short People try their hardest to reject me But in a way, their conscience won't be caught Something's happening to me day by day My pebble on the beach is getting washed away I've given everything that was mine to give And now I'll turn around and find that there's no time to live So often I have seen that big wheel of fortune Spinning for the man who holds the ace There's many who would change their places for him But none of them have ever seen his lonely face
