Can you guys help me find more music like this...?

This is one of my FAVORITE pieces of music.  It's only about two minutes long, and comes from the Soundtrack to Get The Gringo.  It's by Antonio Pinto, and I can't locate anything else by him.

I'm curious if any of you can recommend similar sounding music...?

Thanks for any help!

Wikipedia has his long-list of filmography.  Link HERE.  He's also on the IMDB site.

There's a good list.

But I only see soundtracks.  I wonder if someone has compiled them somewhere?

Thanks, guys!

I wasn't necessarily looking for music BY him, but the overall tone and sound of that particular piece. It travels from peaceful, to upbeat, to solemn -- at least to me. very complex, with great transients and instrument separation...

As I said, one of my favorites:-)

It has a cajun beat as well as a carabian calypso touch.  Try looking in those genres.  Also you may enjoy Preston Reeds Insturmental landing album.

Some great suggestion have been made here but this one is for me.  Thanks Dano.  I am on the hunt now for new music by this artist.

Thanks for all the replies folks - got a 5 album order into Amazon:-)
What did you order?

Jesse Cook - Frontiers
Craig Chaquico - Once in a blue universe
Peter White - Perfect moment
Preston Reeds - Instrumental landing
Adrian Legg - Greatest hits

A couple of them I had to order used, as they are out of production.  I already own Acoustic Alchemy - Roseland:-)

Thanks again for all the suggestions!!

I don't know if it's your cup of tea, but when I listened to what others had posted here, I was reminded of Manowar's "Thunderpick/Guyana". Joey DeMaio utterly thrashed the Spanish/South American riffs on a *bass* guitar:
