Ummm...not sure where the confusion was, but the song I was actually posting was:

George Harrison Isn't it a Pity
LMFAO! Funny how both songs are about breaking someones heart. And here I thought you were going retro. happy0009.gif

Bwahahaha, I was going retro...just a different Genre!

I  have been watching "Concert for George" a lot lately. AWESOME show.

Momma Let Him Play

Mamma let that boy play some Rock-N-Roll
Jazz is much too crazy, he can play it when he's old
He's to young for the Blues,he's still inside his first pair of shoes
He' just a baby
Give that boy some freedom, let him move around
Don't get in his way, you'll only bring him down

Chorus
Mamma won't you let him,let him play some Rock-N-Roll
Ya
Let him play some Rock-N-Roll
Let him play some Rock-N-Roll
Let him play some Rock-N-Roll
Oh yaeh
Well alright,come on now

Mamma let that boy play some Rock-N-Roll
Jazz is much too crazy,he can play it when he's old
He's too young for the blues,he's still inside his first pair of shoes
He's so young
Give that boy some freedom, let him move around
Don't get in his way, you'll only bring him down

Chorus

Mamma Let Him Play
Let Him Play
Mamma Let Him Play
Let Him Play
Mamma let him say, what he wants to say
(x2)

Leon Russel

"Tight Rope"

I'm up on the tightwire
one side's ice and one is fire
its a circus game with you and me
I'm up on the tightrope
one side's hate and one is hope
but the tophat on my head is all you see
And the wire seems to be
the only place for me
a comedy of errors
and I'm falling

Like a rubber-neck giraffe
you look into my past
well maybe you're just to blind to - see
I'm up in the spotlight
ohh does it feel right
ohh the altitude
seems to get to me

I'm up on the tightwire
flanked by life and the funeral pyre
putting on a show
for you to see

Like a rubber-neck giraffe
you look into my past
well maybe you're just too blind to - see
I'm up in the spotlight
ohh does it feel right
ohh the altitude
really gets to get to me

I'm up on the tightwire
flanked by life and the funeral pyre
putting on a show for you to see

Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Things That I Used To Do

The things that I used to do

Lord, I won't do no more

The things that I used to do

Lord, I won't do no more

I used to sit and hold your hand darlin'

And cry, oh babe do not go

I used to search all night for you darlin'

Lord, and my search would always end in vain

I used to search all night for you darlin'

Lord, and my search would always end in vain

But I knew all the time darlin'

That you was hid out wit' your other man

I'm goin' to send you back to your mama darlin'

Lord, and I'm goin' back to my family too

I'm goin' to send you back to your mama darlin'

Lord, and I'm goin' back to my family too

Nothin' I can do to please ya' darlin'

I just can't get along with you

Aerosmith, Toys In The Attic.

In the attic lights
Voices scream
Nothin' seen
Real's the dream
Leaving the things that are real behind
Leaving the things that you love from mind
All of the things that you learned from fears
Nothin' is left for the years
Voices scream
Nothin' seen
Real's the dream
Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Lights, voices scream
Nothin' seen
Real's the dream
Leaving the things that are real behind
Leaving the things that you love from mind
All of the things that you learned from fears
Nothin' is left for the years
Voices scream
Nothin' seen
Real's the dream
Toys, toys, toys

Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Toys, toys, toys
In the attic
Toys, toys, toys

Building on the last two...  Here's a slight variation on the game, or call it "three clues" right up front.

This song has "for the years", and "the things that" just like Aerosmith's Toys In The Attic..., but it's very different.

The additional three word clue is:

"look so fine"

This is going to be tough. Big Grin  Hence, the additional clues, right up front.

Sade, "Clean Heart", from Stronger Than Pride

Little Janet said you look so fine, so fine

And he said I'm gonna bring home the things that are out of your clutch

Finger on the trigger for the years to come

Right on, Dave.  I was listening to Sade all morning on the ALS's.  Unbelievable recording.

You are up.  Cool
