Nahash5150 9,362
All, Some of you may have heard that I quit my job recently. It's true. I had to move on from that horrible place. It was more than just a 'shitty job', the company is in big trouble, and poor management is the reason. Anyway, I am doing repair work full time now. We are starting a business and going full tilt into audio and media. I will have more time to make this site even better, and offer more and more features and resources. It's going to be awesome! So my bench is open for work. I work on everything Carver and Sunfire. Don't waste time to get in the queue...it will fill up quickly. Please email me instead of PM - my queue is managed by my gmail/Google suite. My site is still Here for now, but will eventually be assimilated into the real deal business. Thank you everyone for your support! Greg aka Hashy 6

Rockster2U 666
I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Get a good accountant who knows tax laws and understands that for starters, solder costs $397.26 an ounce. No more dinners out on the town with The Raven, Uncle Sam likes seeing those customer names on your restaurant receipts. Best of Luck - Enjoy the Ride

pindrop 329
Like I told The Raven, you two are already a success and hard workers. Just be sure to schedule some down time for.... listening. 3
Brian_at_HHH 2,514
Here's hoping you always have a waiting list (there are too few good techs out there, so I'm sure that's a no-brainer). But make sure you follow @pindrop's advice - time for yourselves is going to be more crucial than ever. You are going to feel you "have" to go work on this or that repair. Treat it like the business it is - don't let it become what your other job was like. Aside from that, Congrats!!!!! Live it up and enjoy your new boss!
Dennis47 734
Hashy….Congratulations! Good luck with the full time endeavor. It is great to have a full time tech with your abilities available. I'll have to dig out my two M-1.5ts which both need recapped....

BarryG 2,844
Good luck in your new endeavors! It was great to meet you and Jenny at CF. It’s good to see more full time great Technicians! I’ve had a small repair shop in photo equipment back in the 1970s, it’s a lot of work. As mentioned before, a good accountant is well worth the money! Have a a great day! 4krow 3,853
HELL YAH! I am very happy to hear of someone else escaping that which bound them. I really did feel like I was doing time in Arizona for over two decades. It will take some time to recover from your experience, and I am not joking. I still have dreams now and then about it. No for the good news, I will likely have some business for you. Hard to find good techs now days. I have been fortunate here at CS.

halfbaked 82
Excellent and have an abundant business. You will be much happier. Besides like others here I have some business that sounds like it's heading in your direction now. I can't wait to send you an inquiry. First I have to take care of something. To empty my slate.
AndrewJohn 6,281
Liberation is always the beginning of good things. Thought about this at the gym this morning…, Wanted to add some generic credos I think about a lot: 1. always take the high-road, even if it means swallowing some pride. 2. being right is good, being so right you are "dead" right, is bad. 3. social, social, social. it can kill you just like high voltage. (another reason to take the high-road). 4. reputations are built over time. 5. reputations are crushed, in only seconds. 6. reputations are what "others" say and think about you - not what you think or say... that's the truth. 7. if you have to sacrifice a few $ to preserve the momentum of a good reputation, it's very inexpensive in the long run (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). 8. let others not taking a high-road hang themselves - no need to push them into it - it will happen on it's own. the "crowd" is great justice if you follow 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 , and 6. 9. focus, focus, focus on the high road. (see 8). 10. win-win outcomes build reputation. win-lose outcomes destroy reputation - in everything (see 8 and 9). I know you will be successful. Rock on, Greg! My amps are on their way. ?
