Oh, my, God Bob, look at them meters
They’re so big, they looks like
One of those rap guys' grills.
But, ya know, who understands those rap guys?
They only look at ‘em, because,
They so big n bouncy, 'kay?
I mean, them meters, are just so big
I can't believe they show that sound, it's like out there
Watch them pound, look!
They just so, massive

I like big meters and I can not lie
You other Carver brothers can't deny
That when that amp walks in without no pace
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, want to pull up through
'Cause you notice that amp was stuffed…

I like big meters!

It is if you fill it with oil and chicken!

Wilson Audio is only about a 40min drive from me, up in the wasatch mountains. They used to give tours several years ago - I should see if they still do.

They make some of the most visually impactful speakers - straight up intimidating, both from a looks perspective, AND a price perspective!

Those D-1200's were a beast and very surprising.  A friend of a good friend in Phoenix has some sort of equipment where he can test amplifiers under practically any load without losing power and ran one of these through the mill.  It was quite impressive even being in stock form.  I always wanted one of those.

I'm pondering selling one or both of my Mac amps and getting a new Onkyo M-5000R to match the P-3000R I bought a couple years back.  I've known the National Sales Director since 2001 when I was the rep for Onkyo/Integra (till 2009) and still can buy things at Rep Sample price.  Sometimes new gear is nice.  lol
