I'm quite sure it will be just fine. Perhaps a "slight" adventure, but I've no doubt you will have given it a through test-drive, if only to keep us PITA's off your back. The upgrade also broke our custom theme, so I'll have to fix that. This update broke a lot of our customizations, so it'll be a while before things return to normal...and I'm afraid it won't go back to exactly what we had before, in terms for appearance. It's not my doing. I'm trying different templates because our former theme (the template that controls how things look) doesn't work anymore with the new software update. I'm not going to spend too much time on trial themes. Butcher 605 Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 The appearance seems quite nice, with perhaps the exception being the posting controls; mine seem to be light gray upon gray, and the contrast is not quite enough for my fatigued eyes. Performance appears to be much improved. Switching between threads, selecting between older and newer pages in long threads, and image loading - all far better. Let me know what you think of the themes. Just go all the way to the bottom of the page and select 'Theme' then choose one from the pop up menu. Default > Con - Too bright, everything is centered in the middle of the screen Pro - Easy to read Bravo 6 > Con - Some colored fonts hard to read, everything is centered in the middle of the screen Pro - Background is easy on the eyes Vuex > Con - Some colored fonts hard to read Pro - Background easy on the eyes, theme stretches across the entire monitor My pick is Vuex; obviously a bit of tweaking is needed but overall Vuex and Bravo 6 could work for me...
