Hello from Georgia

Recommended Posts

I'm a new member from Georgia and just wanted to take a minute to say hello to everyone on the board.  I've spent some time lurking before finally deciding to join and hopefully contributing to the discussions here.

As for equipment, I'm a little in between components right now.  I have a C-11 that was rebuilt by Rolland and a TFM 15CB with some issues with one of the channels.  In fact, I will probably be discussing what to do with this amp at some point on this forum.  I recently purchased a M1.5t that was also rebuilt by Rolland that I'm hoping will be delivered soon.  Until then, I'm using my Pioneer SX 737 receiver to keep things running.  My speakers are a set of HPM 100 that have been fully recapped and sound beautiful.

My current turntable is the Rega P3 (in white), and I also have a Pioneer tape deck and Marantz CD player, but I can't remember the exact model numbers at the moment.  I've also got some lower quality gear that I've loaned out, such as a MCS turntable and a set of HPM 60 speakers.

Several years back, a good friend of mine reintroduced me to the joys of quality stereo equipment, vinyl, and most importantly Carver gear, and I have enjoyed it since.  I look forward to the discussions and I hope to learn as much as possible along the way.

Hello Tankervet and welcome to thecarversite.com. We're glad you're hear. ;) There is a lot of information here, much technical know how, and a pretty good bunch of folks that are happy to help.

Please consider uploading some pics of your gear in the Members Systems area. We all like pics of all kinds of audio gear.

In the meantime, kick your shoes off, turn up the music, and welcome aboard.
