Got it. Now I have ALL the anthracite Receivers.

Recommended Posts

Just took possession of a Receiver 6200. Never had one before. I now have a working example of each of the anthracite set. Receiver 900, 130, 150, 6200, 6250, 2000 and AVR-100. All remotes except one for the 6200. I’ll gather them together and get some pics.

Great collection Kev!

If I did my math correctly .... you only need to buy around ~ 1,050 capacitors

What about all of these? Do they need caps, too? Maybe I should order 3,150. Think that'll be more than a hundred bucks?

Panasonic is looking at property in my neighborhood for a factory.😱

I know, it's at your house. I did bring a bunch more home, so it's a representative picture. The real stacks are now higher. The ones on the bottom are getting dented. At 35 lbs a piece, give or take, I literally have a TON of Carver Gear.

Yeh there is a lot of weight on the bottom unit. Those little feet put dents in the cover. Maybe some pieces of wood between will help.

In the future, "foot indentations" in the top of Carver receivers will be the way of determining if they passed through Kevin's Carver Apocalypse Bunker or not.

Nope got me a pile-o covers. Plus now I work at a body shop.
