Can you say "pain in a bottle?"

I used to frequent a restaurant (sadly long gone) that had what it called "the wall of fire" with about 100 different hot sauces.  I tried Dave's - one drop on a corn chip.  Yes, it's freakin' gawd-awful hot, but survivable.  I like hot, but I like to taste things, before, during and after.  It is great for getting rid of unwanted relatives - just add a couple of drops and watch them self immolate.  😈

Oh yeah!  I'm very familiar with this hot sauce.  Has just a hint of zip to it too.  I still have a brand new bottle still in the coffin it comes in.

Fair warning, this stuff is potent.

Here's a pic of the bottle my wife picked up for me:

Even has yellow caution tape wrapped around it.

Ah, into the HARD stuff again, eh?  That's dangerous you know, Rich!  I can prove it will eat a mile deep through solid rock!  And you are going to pour that into your somewhat soft, and fragile body?!?!  -X-

You don't see alcohol, coffee or even soda pop doing that - not a mile deep through rock.  You can't prove it will, but water - well that stuff is a killer!!!!   **))

I have a biker buddy that won't drink water either. He says he won't drink anything that fish defecate, urinate, or procreate in.

I have realized that nothing good happens when I am drinking...

That being said, I do like to have a scotch or beer on occasion.

I recently found it necessary to have a MAJOR DISCUSSION WITH MY TEENAGE CHILDREN !

This was not about their moderate underage drinking ( I am not a hypocrite .)

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THEY TO ADD WATER TO THE BOTTLES IN THE LIQUOR CABINET!

I usually stick to Gin or Absinthe; these were desperate times

Gin: the quicker picker upper

Wise man, @itchitch - accept reality and make sure things remain unsullied.  :D

Fortunately, I don't have that worry (aside from not drinking much), as my kids are quite happy to not pillage the wares, as long as their bowls are kept clean and full.  😸

That's quite the contrast, Rich - I just hope you don't combine them.  (My warning is based on once trying rum with gin as the mix - not good, not good at all, please just don't do it - TRUST ME!).
