New from Mo.

Recommended Posts

I am from central Mo. back in the late 70’s into the mid 80’s I sold many of the popular name brand audio products. Later, I work at a high end audio retailer in Phoenix, Az. before getting out of the business completely. I have always had multiple systems in my own home. I have had my Carver components for over 20 years. It’s nice to see a site dedicated to the brand.
Thank you for letting me join the group.

Hello CSB, and welcome to thecarversite.com. We're glad you're hear. ;) There is a lot of information here, much technical know how, and a pretty good bunch of folks that are happy to help.

I am just about an hour SW of you down I44, and we have at least 2 other members I know of in MO.  REPRESENT! :D

Once you get to Novice status, please consider uploading some pics of your gear in the Members Systems area. We all like pics of all kinds of audio gear.

In the meantime, kick your shoes off, turn up the music, and welcome aboard.

A bit of a belated welcome to the group!  There are definitely plenty of folks here dedicated to keeping, fixing, and enjoying Carver gear, but we are certainly not so single minded that we don't welcome info and involvement of other gear as well.

The downside of being here is the ever present threat of OCCD - an insidious, incurable, and overwhelmingly enjoyable addiction to Carver gear that manages to find it's way into anyone who hangs around here for any length of time.  I was in denial about it for the first, short while of being here.  Many more Carver components later, I simply acknowledge the reality of it and enjoy the side effects.  :D

Remember to take time to enjoy the music!
