Hello all,

Bob is back. Carver Direct,  internet direct to customer store is under construction. Bob has 4 products designed and being prototyped after extensive testing under simulations.

This site will build and distribute products in addition to our California location. We will have 2 locations producing certain models, operating on independent supply chains, to help build robustness into our capacity to meet the demand. This is not a retail location. There will be a great listening room for testing and doing demonstrations of the latest products. You can always call and set an appointment for a visit. The location is in Rockford, IL..  I'll open 'the vault' and show you 'Bob's Black Book' of designs he has provided. We have awesome designs that we computer simulate with amazement at their performance characteristics.

Bob will be at the 'Hydraulic Rd' facility often for final inspections and testing, before signing off on the production release authorization for each new product being produced at this location.. Other times, I'll take the product to Seattle to Bob's lab.

This location was a bank. One CS member and dear friend suggested naming this location "the basement" in reference to some unkind and false remarks posted on-line. When I say 'Bob's Black Book is in the vault' it really is in the vault.. It makes a great storm shelter. The building has been vacant since February. Here are some pictures before clean-up and conversion to manufacturing. Its zoned light industrial.  Soon Bob's signature will be above the door.

Working so closely with Bob and Peggy is a great joy. Having Bob available for consultation everyday is terrific. Bob has a view of 'everything' that is brilliant and often unique. Its just an amazing time working with Bob and our team. Bob is back!  Very humbled to work with Bob and do this lifting and legwork for him. Like Bob says, "I'm old, but its not my fault". We have your back my friend.   Jim Clark

WOW, Jim, ... that's a lot of progress since Saturday.  I will admit, I didn't understand your vision of the main lobby room - but it's all coming together now - I see it!

Go Go Go !!

Now i want to visit again, to hear music ..., too quiet last Saturday ! 😉

What Brand and Model are those speakers?  I am far from an expert but they resemble SVS Prime tower speakers.

I helped Jim and Lee (@xavionics) move those speakers to the new location.  They are Elac towers, Uni Fi Reference - or the previous model year of those current towers..., @Ar9Jimwill make a deal on them, I'm sure!  they sound awesome with the Elac sub driven by Bob's amps - I know from experience at Jim's house a few times.

So will this also be a repair facility for all of Bob's branding? Carver, Phase Linear, Lightstar, Sunfire?

Curious myself now that Bill Flannery is retiring who will be Bob Carver's preferred Sunfire repair tech? Are you guys going to be getting into the servicing / repair business yourselves or strictly new production? Thanks, building looks great!

Hello, Those are ELAC Adante speakers and sub.. They were an Andrew Jones design with the internal woofers and only radiators showing. Great mid-base but need a sub.. Used by themselves they roll off below 40 hz pretty bad. With the sub as intended, its really good.  Many never brought the sub and the line was discontinued after only about a year. The internal woofer structure made them expensive to build.

Hello, No not at all. Just new products and service of those.

The authorized service centers are great and have it covered very well.

Great question!  The service centers have built great businesses around providing great service and we are fully dedicated to supporting them.

Bill has some back issues and his wife recently had her meat suit stall and pass away. Great respect for Bill Flannery. Strictly new production in this factory.

Also have to agree that Bill has been great resource for all.  Needed repair of Carver subwoofer once (a model that he could not service himself) and he still put me immediately in touch with someone who did ultimately repair it to 100% operation.
