wrf 3,117
A new (to the site) technical paper has been posted to the Bob Carver File Cabinet section of the manuals data base. Its a great paper that discusses motivation for tracking down converter, its design, amplifier voicing and several other topics. Thanks again to @BobTFM35
wrf 3,117
For all you Sunfire fans out there, I've straightened out a few links that pointed to the wrong manuals in the Multichannel Amplifiers section. I've also added the manual for the 5 channel version of late model Sunfire TGA amps. The TGA-5400 and TGA-5200.
wrf 3,117
Chief Manuals Detective, @BobTFM35 has uncovered another one. This time a manual for the C-1000 receiver. Note that its for the C-1000, NOT the C-1000a. Many thanks to Bob.
wrf 3,117
@BobTFM35 has been busy digging up more manuals. This time a familiar but obscure Sunfire manual. Posted in the Sunfire section is the manual for the TGA-7400 and TGA-7200. Both seven channel home theater amps. I'll leave it to the Sunfire experts to figure out the difference between the TGA-7X00 and TGA-7X01 amps. Once again, many thanks to Bob.

wrf 3,117
@radtraveller Have you seen this? Silver Seven Schematic
radtraveller 152
Like I can read it… 😞 i have seen that before, but It isn’t identified as a Silver Seven 900. looking at it and trying to associate what I see without opening the thing up and looking at part numbers… I know there were a few different builds of these and that this is not an “original” Silver Seven.. But what do I know… maybe i am just wrong/paranoid and it doesn't matter? Close enough for someone to work on it in 5-30 years? thank you.
wrf 3,117
This time @Will Meyer has been looking under rocks to find manuals. He's found the service manual for the SDA-450. You can find it with all the other manuals. Thank You Will!!

DMarkB 40
I’m new here and I want to say THANK YOU to all the people that have put this tech library together! I really enjoy finally being able to read user and service manuals for what I’m doing with Carver components. To have them available for FREE is even better. Even though the information is why people come here, I think it’s equally important to recognize the effort from others to scrape the internet, scan originals for the digital copy or whatever it takes. Reminds me of when Norm Abrams was filming on location in wine country California for an episode of This Old House (or New Yankee Workshop?). He was shown into a huge wine cellar made of very nice arched woodworking. Inside were racks of bottles of vintage wine from the vineyard which his guide explained why this wine was so exceptional. The guide then pointed out how much effort and craftsmanship went into building the cellar, Norm replied ‘I hope the wine appreciates it’.
wrf 3,117
A spectacular series of 22 diagrams for the PM-1.5 now been posted next the the PM-1.5 service manual. It shows schematic, part values, expected voltage, etc. Who ever put this together know what they were doing. These diagram were posted many years ago and I snatched a copy. Try as I might, I cannot find the original post, so the author will remain anonymous until we can dig it up. 2

I'll gladly buy them a beer or two if I ever have the pleasure of meeting them.
