Gene C's System

Well I've decided to swap the TGP-III out for the IV here in the next few minutes. Going to write down all of III's settings so this might take an hour to accomplish, hopefully there will be no swearing involved as I brave the infinite connects behind the cabinet. happy0009.gif

Oh, I feel for you.  I put up with no tuner in my CT-17 for over a year once because of the pain in the assness of ripping out a pre-amp.
Earlier this year I had an extreme weather occurance and while I was out of town MY WIFE had to rip my entire system down to keep it away from water intrusion.   Poor woman.  She had to put up with my bitchin when I got home.  I woulnd't go into my HT room for almost a week.

Couldn't find any photos with the custom plexi cover so this will be it's debut. The red stylus guard did show up last week so we wont have anymore accidents with cleaning and whatnot. eusa_whistle.gif happy0009.gif

20131118_221729_zpsdde9885d.jpgThe leather mat is on there to keep the glare down to a minimum when not playing LP's and to keep the platter clean. Does not get used when playing records.

Thanks guys. And to think the evolution of that system all started here with the blue led mods, the amp hording, the vinyl craze, the headphones, the tubes.... You all are a bad influence. happy0009.gif But I thank you for it.  Big Grin

Yep Gene, that is hands down one of the best looking setups I've ever seen and THE BEST sounding setup I've ever had the pleasure of listening to!!! Don't think there's any room for improvement.......yet LOL!!!!

Ok Gene... I'll throw this offer out...

Since you cant improve any more on your setup, hows about you just Karma it off to me. msp_thumbup.gif  That way you can have the enjoyment found from rebuilding a totally new setup from scratch and not being locked into to any one configuration.

Heck you should even pay to have it all shipped up to me since I'm doing you such a big favor eusa_liar.gif

Wow.  Very nice system, Gene.  Truly beautiful.  I'm in love with the blue lights.

You have attained a state of nirvana, and reached true enlightenment.  What comes next?

...enjoy the music!

Oh, "If it's truly 'done', you're too old"  face20.gif
Another impressive part of this system, is here you are only seeing 3.2 of the '11.4'.
Nice work, Gene. emthup.gif

Sweet system Gene. One rarely sees brutish power seamlessly integrated with accurate response and great looks.

I'm curious though. Did you ever do anything to clean up the spaghetti bowl in the rear?
