Seems the power going to your lows would be stronger than your mids and highs, would have to tune that with the line levels on the crossover which sounds like a pain in the ass. A closing front face with the clear lexan, a translucent lexan backing, and then run a 12' rope light around the inside in a serpentine pattern, or a couple of tube flourescent running vertically. I built some home made boxes for some car 6x9 tri-ax Pioneers!!I'll post some current pics here in a bit... I did the same thing only I'm pretty sure I used Jensen's. I did however get tissue wrap and the posters packaged, they will be winging their way to you tomorrow. One good thing, the Meet Joe Black is not sun faded, I realized I was looking at the backside of the one sheet, not the front. It's very nice looking! The 55x did not do the horn tweeters in the Klipsch any favors.The 500t mkII (very rapidly becoming my favorite amp) is like a velvet sledgehammer - tons of power, and the ability to control it too. I absolutely love it's sound through the horns of the Klipsch. If there is a downside to the 500t, it's low impedance loads....I have had no experience with a 45...All the preceding is just MY opinion...:-) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've been on the lookout, but they just don't come around very often.... And when they do, it's >$300 for a NON-WORKING one!?!? Man, I really shouldn't be griping about EITHER of my 45's then........I got mine for $150 SHIPPED each !!! One of them was in working condition, and the other is in the process of being fixed up. Not when you take into consideration of what it will cost to recap it and service faulty or questionable parts. And they have to be clean too, no chopped ears or missing rack handles.
