Enabler awarded. FYI, all Members and Residents can award most stickers. I know there's at least one that can only be awarded by an admin.

I have only been here for a short time but man,  that must be a difficult decision on who gets awards. You all deserve an award.  Your contributions of knowledge and resources presented in such a humorous and enabling manner makes me think that this is much bigger than us and could be the basis of a damn good award-winning TV show about how one gets hooked and how to cope. A Dr. Phil type could be the moderator that offers sage advice that helps OCCD guests get through common afflictions of equipment failure, unwise spending on gear, obsessions, ignoring the wife, scratched turntable dust covers, missing or unmatched side panels, hoarding, upset neighbors etc.

In spite of my teasing, Doug / @Dnspy007, I need to say thank you -to you.  Th award was not in any way, necessary - it actually felt great to help out and contribute to the group like this.

 

@Rob being not much longer here, than yourself, I can honestly say I've never come across a more welcoming, and friendly, community.  The level of helping (and, OCCD ennoblement, of course), all with a sense of humour, is great.

 

I'm relying on you to script the show and act as director.  I'll be waiting off stage in my trailer for my camera call.  Just beware, I have a face for radio, and a voice for silent movies.

 

As to who gets awards, based on my experience, I think it's easy - one just needs to annoy, harass, Pester, and heckle the Admins and moderators, and they seem to brand you with them as a warning to those who purport to be somewhat (?) sane.

It seems appropriate that Bob Carver be the moderator. From the looks of it, he owes some of you guys big time causing you to become what you have, so he should assume some responsibility in making things right. 

 

I dont know what any of you guys look like but in my mind, when I read your posts, I see something like this.
