  1. Finally hooked everything up. Placed the CVs on top of the office. About 9 feet from the floor, at one end of the building. No crazy echos. Loud for sure. I'll probably eventually get some Klipsch, but these are fine for now.
  2. I'm going to try out of some older cv at12 that have new cv foam that I have. We"ll see how these party speakers work I'll report back when I get it all together. What model cv are those with the horns? I'm in SW Michigan, on the lake.
  3. The office is in one corner. Next to it is my 4 post cart lift. I'll spend most of my time there at the car lift working on stuff. I was worried more about noise reflection and other unknown to me oddities in such a big space.
  4. The big boys..... I think those are out of my price range.
  5. Hello all Just purchased a TFM35 and a CT16 from 69chevelle. (Thanks!) I am putting something together for my warehouse. It is 7000 sq.ft. 70 x 100 x 14t. The construction is steel. The ceiling is thick fiberglass insulation bats, vinyl lined. The walls are corrugated steel sheet. There will always be a large boat parked right in the middle, and there will always be some cars and a couple of enclosed trailers taking up volume. In the winter months, most of the space will be filled in with trailer boats. I am looking for suggestions on what speakers might work. At home. I am partial to Klipsch for sound. Not sure if any of them would work well in such a large open area. If needed, could hang short curtains from the ceiling. Thanks in advance! Fred
  6. I'm going to put the system in my warehouse. 100 feet long, 70 feet wide, sloped ceiling 14 tall to 16 tall. Steel building. Vinyl lined insulation bats on ceiling. Walls are currently the same but will be covered with white steel. Anybody have any suggestions for speaker location and what speakers? At home. I am partial to klipsch. Not sure how they would sound in the building. I use the building to store some cars and boats of my own. And rent more than half of it out in the winter as heated storage space. Thanks Fred
  7. Thanks for the welcomes!
  8. Hello all New member here. Years ago I had a Carver system, including a TFM 25, a TFM15, and the rest I don't remember the model numbers, but had a dual preamp, a reference cd player, a tuner. Also a remote, and Klipsch speakers. That system is long gone, and wanting to build another, smaller system. Starting with a TFM 25. Would be nice to find one needing no work. Thanks Fred
