  1. Thanks. Hello fellow Canuckian.
  2. Thanks both of you.
  3. Thanks. I appreciate that a lot.
  4. Last, but not least, the garage set-up. As I said, my late Uncle Ross' JVC and Wharfedale set-up. Originally the entire JVC system including cassette and record player in an accompanying JVC stand. Was my system in university, but gave away the stand and record player, and repurposed everything else. Can see the amp and tuner in the first shot, with an Apple TV, a computer, cable box and multiple switches and splitters. The wide shot shows the floor standing Wharfedale speakers mounted high. I found some incredibly sturdy wall mounts to get them up there. Don't recall the model number but the early 80's 3 way speakers fill the 1600 ft^2 garage incredibly well.
  5. Next up is my 2 channel set-up. Had a dedicated metal and glass audio stand originally, but this looks way better. Problem was, playing vinyl at elevated volumes would resonate the whole piece of furniture. That's why I had to add the isolation device under the turntable. Works like a charm, can play vinyl at 11 now. Albums on the wall are removable for listening to or swapping. Of course the CRM-2 ribbon tweeters are incredibly directional, but my couch combined with my torso height centred is the sweet spot. The SubRosa sub is hidden against the wall behind the unit. Close up shots of the amp and pre. As I said, the pre has both the remote option and phono stage. The record player is a Debut Carbon. Love playing this system loud (well, the HT too) but this especially. The CRM's will take all of the amp and play as loud as I care to listen. The sub amp can be seen hanging under the other piece of furniture.
  6. Projector is a JVC DLA-RS500U
  7. HT first. CRW-3C's are painted to match the wall and the centre is buried behind the acoustically transparent screen, so you can't see them. Just to the left you can see one of the CRM-2BIPs and you can barely see the location of the subs to the left of the 130" screen and over top of the green theatre setting on the right. Can also see some of the Klipsch ceiling speakers. Second shot is my hidden equipment stack. The Cinema Seven and Marantz on the bottom, next shelf has whole home audio control system and 1 amp. Next shelf has 2nd whole home audio amp and a Sony UBP-X800 UHD Blu-ray player with a cable PVR, 4K Apple TV and some more whole home audio equipment on top.
  8. Thanks! I'll post pics here then over in the Member's Systems as well.
  9. Thanks! Have next step thoughts, but that's only if I build another space for them. Thoughts would be Carver TFM-45 with a c1 pre powering some AR-3A's (one can dream) I do have 1 more system that I haven't mentioned. My garage set-up is my late Uncle's JVC A-X40 amp and matching JVC T-K10 tuner powering his floor standing early '80's Wharfedale speakers mounted high on the wall on very stout mounts.
