  1. @AndrewJohn thanks for the welcome and guidance!!!!! I'll start documenting my repair!!!
  2. @BobTFM35 you have been most welcoming and helpful!! I'll continue to follow up on the information provided! I can't thank you enough! Looking forward to learning more! Thank you again!
  3. Ok, just removed the case and here is the image of the back of the fuse holder.
  4. Here is an image of the missing fuse holder/cap from the TFM-55x. From my searches I assume there isn't any stock readily available for such items, just parted off other units??? Thanks!
  5. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome to this forum!!!
  6. @Receiver2000 I am so looking forward to it! I know I have a lot to learn but I have been having a blast so far! Thx!
  7. @BobTFM35 the fuse socket is there on the back but nothing else. I am assuming both but not entirely sure?????
  8. @BobTFM35 Thank you! I have yet to hookup my TFM-55x as I purchased it un-Tested and soon realized its missing the fuse holder on the back. I am working on sourcing one of those, but not much luck yet. Regardless, I can't get over the build quality of Carver products and all the positive feedback on them! I am now looking at a Carver Receiver to replace my current Pioneer SX-201 paired with a couple of Yamaha NS-A180 speakers. Yeah, I didn't start off with a plan and my wife always knows I need two of everything!!! Thanks!
  9. Hi Everyone, I am new fan of Carver electronics after picking up a TFM-55x amplifier second hand. After researching Carver I love the quality of the builds and the community surrounding it. My interest started with a purchase of an Audio Technica turntable to which I have started experimenting with receivers and amplifiers for my vintage home system. Admittedly have a lot to learn! Greg
