    Long time audiophile, but just acquired my first Carver unit, after all these years! The Carver Receiver, model 900. Very nice construction. Unfortunately, it has an issue, but I will address that in a separate post. My first real quality purchase was a Marantz 1030 integrated amp, around 1975. Bought a pair of Polk Model 10s in 1981.
