I just bought a Carver 6200 receiver. It powered up but I was unable to evaluate with speakers and was not in the best shape cosmetically. I took a chance and bought it. It cleaned up well and I just tried it and the tuner works and sounds good. The volume and tone controls don’t have noise while adjusting. I had a friend who over 40 years ago had a Carver M-400 Cube hooked to a pair of Klipsch La Scala, a bit of over kill. I remember his system sounding fantastic. I’m looking forward to enjoying the receiver.
