I have desired an audio system with Carver gear since approx. 1990. Recently, my brother in-law asked if we would like to buy his Carver CT-28v and AV-405. I snapped them up! The brother in-law is a great guy, it was a very good price. I have them hooked up to a pair of old Klipsch KG 4's. I look forward to revisiting my audio enthusiast days of past with the current benefit of actually being able to afford some newer gear. I look forward to participating here on the forums as well. Additional speakers are next on my list. I was thinking some KEF 300B bookshelf sized speakers and a matching center speaker. Certainly open to suggestions here! I found this site while attempting to locate a manual for the CT-28v preamp, which has been an unsuccessful search to this point. I see there are possibly other parts of this site, for which I don't have access that may hold some hope (e.g. denied access to the database). With that short self intro … a new "howdy all".
