Henry Kloss "ENSEMBLE" lonely 6 ohm Woofers

Yes I got a deal on these two woofers.

 

I hooked them to a 50 wpc amp and they did replecate the low frequencys quite well.

 

I am wondering if they could be modified just by cutting some holes adding crossovers and tweeters or perhaps a mid too.

 

I guess this desighn is a step away from the old 2 way systems to the HT systems.

 

Has anyone had any DIY info that may pertain to this.

 

Is this the old "boston acoustics" ( Sorry my spell check is fast asleep )

 

Perhaps they could be used as part of a moble setup for the Car?

 

Or are these SUB (under) normal Woffer frequency responce?

 

They are very well made ,real wood, High quality connectors etc.
