  1. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay!
  2. Alright! Another Jean Luc Ponty fan! Cosmic Messenger is a great album!
  3. I know. I was going to politely ask that you turn it down a bit.
  4. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! Thanks for sharing your audio journey. From your description, you have a very nice setup! Glad to hear that you're enjoying it. Condolences on the loss of your lovely bride.
  5. Agreed. Many, many years ago when I was really into car audio I always used sealed subs for optimum sound. I never needed to blow the windows out with a ported design because I could get tight bass response from a sealed unit. Personally, I find that some ported designs actually muddy the sound a bit (at least to my ears).

  10. Welcome Teresa! Enjoy your stay! Plenty of folks here that can offer good advice on how to approach a project such as yours. You definitely can't go wrong with Nelion. I've sent a couple of pieces to Greg and Jenny for repair/restoration. Absolutely top notch work!
  11. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! Generous offer of a C2. Looks like @TimD is interested.
  12. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! While it's possible it could be something else, it is very likely just the "thump" that is typically found in these amps. Power supply caps can contribute so be sure to replace those with some high quality types.
  13. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! Glad to have you with us.
  14. First and foremost, welcome to the site! Glad to have you here! Secondly, your TFM-35 is most definitely worth the repair. Look, it lasted 30 and brought you hours of listening pleasure. Get with Nelion (@Nahash5150). Greg can bring that thing back to life for you.
  15. Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! Glad to have you with us! Sounds like you got a nice system there. Would be cool to see some pictures of it when you get the chance.
