Hi everyone,
My journey In electronics started in the 1970s as a budding musician. I needed more steady work and realized that learning something about electronics would supplement my music interests as well. Off to technical school for a year of TV / radio electronics. Following that I was employed in a mostly TV service shop for about a year. Then moved on to servicing pro and home audio gear at a respected shop in Vancouver, BC, Canada for 5-6 years. With the increasing demand for income, I made a carreer shift into the copy / print service industry from the early 90s to about 2020. All the while I did audio servicing on the side in a small home workshop. The pandemic led to retirement and an increased interest in servicing audio gear again. I'm enjoying it and having success with most of my repairs so far. So, that's where I'm at to date ( 2024 ).
