    Thanks for the information Sk1Bum. They all have inputs galore! I will dive deeper into them. I see your point about the affordability of them too. Is there a marketplace on this site?

    Thank you. I am using it for both. It doesn't really matter if the preamp has a phono stage as I already have a phono preamp. I am looking for something with at least 4 analog inputs and good sound quality. The Emotiva Basx Pt2 is one I am considering but really interested in what people here are using as a preamp in their systems and if they would recommend anything. I am also wondering if anyone uses a tube preamp and if they like it.

    Hello Everyone, I love my amp the a760x. I am looking for a better preamp for it. I am running a Parasound zPre2 to a mirage sub and Wharfedale evo 4.2s. Any suggestions? My budget is up to 2k.
