Ar9Jim 6,512 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Nice work. When you first post the pics of the Thiel speakers they looked rough and looked like a lot of work. They look great now. Impressive work for sure..Thanks for sharing. 1
Ratamahatta 437 Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 Thanks, I got my locking nuts made for my homemade outriggers and homemade spikes.
Ar9Jim 6,512 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Nice. I like the wider stance that the outrigger provides. What size thread is the spike? Reason I ask is because there's a chance I may have some acorn nuts around the shop. If I do, and you want them , I would drop them in the mail. 1
Ratamahatta 437 Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 The thread size is 1/4 20 standard size. I made these by tac welding a 1/4 20 stainless nut to a 1/2" and then cutting a thin slice of 1/2" all-thread to top cap them off with. I did it this way so I could adjust with no tools. Thanks for the offer though.
