There are signal generater apps for android and apple too. I used a free one on my android tablet to adjust damping on my TFM-4.0

Careful; a pure tone with enough gain can blow out speakers, especially ribbons. And if your ears can't hear it, it does not mean the speaker isn't generating lots of sound energy.
