OK I blew it, I pulled the leads off of one driver, after removing it because of it buzzing, and didn't pay attention to where the postive and negative leads went. Are they wired in series to present an 8ohm load to the amp or in parallel and the crossover takes care of it with both woofers wired positive and negative. Yea I know, pay attention next time, but I old and of feeble mind....

If you can't find a wiring diagram it won't hurt the speaker to try it both ways.
If the wires are reversed you should notice that the frequency balance is "off".

Reversed wires should also change the driver phase so try the battery trick.
Intermittantly connect a 9V battery across the speaker terminals while watching the cones.
When the internal wiring is correct all of the cones should move in the same direction.

It's a center channel speaker Gary so he only has one.

At any rate he let me know he got it worked out using the battery trick.
