Y'all got my curiosity going now about Carver car audio. Does anyone know any history, development, design, marketing, manufacturing of the car audio department of Carver? I never saw any of these products or advertisements back in the day Thank you

I have each of my Carver amps and preamps on individual shelves of my Sonus racks. They are not stacked. I like the idea of having component covers for my C-1, C-16, M1.0t, TFM-55 with a Carver logo embossed on the front....at an affordable price 😄

I have some early released CDs (1980s) that sound absolutely horrible and very fatiguing whereas my vinyl counterparts sound better. Some of those CDs were re-released and remastered, with some of them HDCD. (I have HDCD players). They sound significantly better.
I can say the same for my vinyl records. Some sound lousy compared to CDs. Some remastered vinyl sounds better then CDs. I feel it's a toss up in some cases and depends on the sound engineer, remixed remaster in both formats. Overall, I think a well mixed, well engineered, CD sound better than vinyl. Vinyl is more fun to me.

Ahhh...love B.O.C. Also known as "Great White Underbelly" when they played locally....from my hometown on Long Island.....where they are from. Saw them in concert back in the day. Great classic rock memories. Thanks for sharing !!! My High School friend Al Pitrelli (Trans Siberian Orchestra / Megadeath) toured with B.O.C. Going to play some B.O.C. now

Wow.....thanks @AndrewJohn. Quite an assortment of offerings from the Carver car audio division. I'm guessing Bob wasn't at the helm during this time period, but wondering if he had any involvement at the initial concept stages.
