Hi

When listening to music, I would occasionally get loud noise where I have to tune it down because it irritating my ears. Next thing , the music is gone, So i switch back and forth between aux 1 and 2 then music is back on and the loud noise gone. I was thinking if this could be the m500t or the c1. Later on I tinkered around the back of the CD player rca connectors and touched the red/white audio connector while music is playing and found the problem. I replaced the audio wire but problem still persists.Any thoughts all?

Sounds like it may be the female rca jack on the CD player. Check to see that the ground shield (the cylindrical metal the surrounds the outside of the jack) has not pulled out of the jack itself. You may need to replace the jacks at any rate.

Could be a broken jack ring on the C-1 or M-500t, too.

I checked the C1, looks good. I wiggled the rca on C1, did not make any loud noise. Only making loud noise if I wiggle the audio wire from cd player. The m500t has just been completely upgraded, and it looks good as well.

The female adapter looks good, I can twist left or right just a bit after tighten the screw next to it.

Have you tried replacing the CDP interconnects? Sounds like you may have an intermittent connection.

I have, the interconnect does not make differences. Maybe the rca jack is at fault
