I used a tape made from that to insulate a oven connection with great success.

The problem with getting kapton for the ALS ribbons is finding a vendor that will make the aluminum foil to the correct thickness and bond it to the kapton film.  Getting the foil on the ribbons is where it becomes difficult/expensive.

I'm looking at this in CL thinking about how they would work in a 2way but what about the materials used for the ribbon? Kaladex? They're close for anybody that wants them.

I don’t notice a size? They look like they may be similar to the crm- 2 ribbons?

I went to this site to check that and they are 8" and 10" But their info says the foil is attached to the Kaladex etc. Here it is :

The construction reminds me of a similar planar magnetic driver by VPMS, Brian Cheney (RIP).  Paul has a set of VPMS, they sounded great!
