How do I delete a photo from my attachments?

I downloaded a test photo to my attachments to see if it would work and now that it did, I cannot delete it.

Can someone explain how to delete the unwanted photo?

If you are accessing via computer, click on the little down arrow to the right of your screen name in the upper right hand corner. One of the options is My Attachments. Click on My Attachments, and you will see a list of them. There will be a box on the right side of the list. Check that box, then click on the trash can icon. You may or may not get a confirmation box.

 

If you're accessing via phone or tablet, the process may differ.

You will need to find the My Attachments folder.

On my Android tablet, I tap the 3 horizontal bars on the upper right hand corner, then tap Account, then My Attachments. The check box is on the left, and the delete button is on the right.

Yes, I have been inside the attachments folder all along but I am unable to find any delete feature nor boxes to check.

Also tried right clicking with mouse but no delete option.

Is there a trash can icon?

There is no trash can icon.

The option to save appears when I hold the photo.

I went digging into group Permissions, and you will be able to delete the attachment once you get to Member status. The checkboxes and Trash can icon should automagically appear on either your 100th or 101st post.
